BLH Aqua Technology is a Korea-based water efficiency enhancement company with the main focus on agriculture. We have developed a water treatment product - Aqutonix - which we manufacture in-house and deploy on all types of farms worldwide. BLH Aqua Technology is a Korea-based water efficiency enhancement company with the main focus on agriculture. We have developed a water treatment product - Aqutonix - which we manufacture in-house and deploy on all types of farms worldwide. Aqutonix uses high voltage electricity to break down water molecule clusters into single water molecules, increasing water absorption in plants by 20% which then leads to an increase of the photosynthetic efficiency by 10% and allows plants to grow bigger and stronger.

Being now in use in over 100 farms all over the world, the farmers also provided insightful feedback: Aqutonix does not only enhance water but it also saves water and decrease farmers' reliance on pesticides and fertilizers.

This project is the first one to be conducted in Taiwan and is made in cooperation with a local agency and 4 local farms to:
- Measure the impact of Aqutonix on water use and water-saving
- Measure the impact of Aqutonix on crop growth and crop health
- Assess the viability of the Taiwanese market and the possibilities for future partnerships in the area

Project Results

By implementing this sustainable project, we were/are expecting the following results:

Yield Increase of all the crops grown, even in various environments such as field, pots and hoop houses
- Water-saving and overall decrease the use of input resources (pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers)
- The guarantee of a better income, therefore, livelihood for the test farmers
