We created this Privacy Policy to give you confidence as you visit and use the Hub and to demonstrate our commitment to fair information practices and the protection of privacy. This Privacy Policy is only applicable to the Hub and not to any other websites that are linked to the Hub in any way, each of which may have data collection, storage and use practices and policies that differ materially from this Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such other websites.

2. What Information is Collected

(a) Information You Provide to Us. If you decide to become a registered user of the Hub (a "Registered User"), you will be asked to provide us with certain types of information. We may collect and store any information that you submit or enter on the Hub, or that you provide to us in any other way, including Personal Information. "Personal Information" as used in this Privacy Policy means any information that may be used, either alone or in combination with other information, to personally identify an individual, including, but not limited to, a first and last name, credit card number, birth date, a home or physical address, an email address or any other contact information. You can choose not to provide Personal Information to us, though your failure to provide Personal Information may prevent you from becoming a Registered User and from using some of the services available through the Hub. The services available to Registered Users are more fully described in our Terms of Use for Registered Users which are provided to users during the registration process (the "Services").

(b) Project Information. In addition to Personal Information, you can choose to provide certain other information to us in connection with registering to become a Registered User of the Hub or your use of the Services as a Registered User, including information that will be publicly displayed on your project profile page ("Project Information"). Project Information that shall be displayed publicly may include project name, vision, objectives, beneficiaries, stakeholders consulted, current progress, associated website, location, start and end dates, action areas, existing project partners, preferred partner organizations, type of support needed, and associated photos and videos.

(c) Automatic Information. When you visit a website, you automatically disclose certain information, such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address and the time of your visit. Like many other websites, the Hub may make use of log files. The information inside the log files includes the IP address from which you access the Hub, the type of browser and operating system you use to access the Hub, the date and time you access the Hub, the pages you visit, and the addresses of the pages from which you followed a link to reach the Hub. We may use such information to analyze trends, administer the Hub, track user movements around the Hub and gather certain demographic information. Such information is not linked to any Personal Information, with the exception of the IP address, which might be used to identify spamming attempts.

(d) "Cookies". Cookies are small information files which are transferred to your computer, mobile device or other device you use when you visit a website and which will recognize your device on future visits. These types of files can perform various tasks, such as remembering your preferences. The Hub may utilize cookies and other tracking technologies that may collect information about your activities on the Hub. Most browsers are set up to accept cookies, but you can change your settings to have your browser notify you when you receive a new cookie or to refuse to accept cookies. Please note, however, that blocking or deleting cookies may affect your ability to use some features of the Hub.
