Blue Planet Network provides a technology platform for funders to easily select, monitor, and manage WASH projects that have been peer reviewed and vetted for quality and sustainability. Each member project must pass a rigorous peer review and planning process that helps them to develop the most sustainable approach for their particular area. We do this by asking questions based on the WASH charter, our own experience, and input from experts to make sure that members think through the complex dynamics and factors that affect the ultimate success of a project in addition to the technology itself - including but not limited to socio-cultural, political, motivational, financial, and geographic challenges. Blue Planet Network works closely with the Pacific Institute and other organizations in the sector to integrate our tools as much as possible to make it easier for users. All projects that receive a sustainability score/seal by passing peer review will be posted automatically on BPN's site and on the Water Action Hub for companies and other members to easily connect and collaborate.
