Management of water resources at the national and international level is not solely an engineering science subject. Therefore, the objectives of the Hydropolitics Association (HPA) are (1) to achieve results from work done with the common disciplines such as economics, international relations, security, environment, meteorology, climate science, marine science and statistics, and (2) national and international water management helps; to make scientific and technical studies with a multi-disciplinary understanding in the subjects of water, food, energy and environmental security, and to use the water in our region as a tool of cooperation and to contribute to the world peace.

As NGO, we work voluntarily on water policies, climate change and environmental problems in the light of science. Our work consists of activities such as
(1) preparing national and international reports,
(2) taking part in national and international projects,
(3) organizing online or physical events,
(4) hosting national and international meetings and stakeholders,
(5) conducting academic studies in national and international journals,
(6) editing and publishing national academic journals,
(7) transferring accurate information to national and international media,
(8) performing delegation duty in international meetings and
(9) contributing to the water-related information transfer between public institutions, private organizations and universities.
