Project Overview

In 2017, Tommy Hilfiger, in collaboration with other apparel companies, conducted water training for suppliers focused on water awareness and measuring impacts. We trained the supply base in the basin on how they contribute to water issues, and the measures they can take to improve their performance, ensure compliance with laws and regulations and reduce their (and our) business risks while lowering operational costs. In 2017, Tommy Hilfiger, in collaboration with other apparel companies, conducted water training for suppliers focused on water awareness and measuring impacts. We trained the supply base in the basin on how they contribute to water issues, and the measures they can take to improve their performance, ensure compliance with laws and regulations and reduce their (and our) business risks while lowering operational costs. The new Industrial Park Guidelines on water stewardship were released to assist industrial park authorities to improve their water management and efficiency.
