Essilor has launched its Supplier Sustainability Program (SSP) in 2015, managed by 2 dedicated FTEs. The program includes a new supplier charter with consideration of environmental responsibility of our suppliers including water criteria, sustainability training for the suppliers, use of EcoVadis platform and on-site audit of preferred and strategic suppliers. The supplier audit program has continue to be rolled out across the group in 2017.
