This collective action project convened by WRAP completed a successful first phase with WWF and Tesco from 2019-2023 and began a second phase a part of WRAP's network of Courtauld Collective Action Projects in 2023. It is focusing on key at-risk fruit, vegetable and flower growing catchments that supply UK retailers and food/drink/flower companies, starting with Naivasha but with a view to expanding to several other catchments. The project is led by WWF Kenya on the ground and seeks to address underlying causes of water risk through collaboration and interventions. WRAP has convened 4 major UK retailers and is seeking further fresh produce businesses to club fund the project for a number of years.
