Project Overview

The OSMOSUN® 13 SW desalination plant, based in Bora Bora in the South Pacific, is operated by SUEZ to supply the local freshwater system with 240 m3 / day. The unit is fed with raw water with 35g/L salinity through a beach well drilled in coral subsoil. The unit produces, along with the sun exposure, 80 m3 / day in complete autonomy, and when required by the local population, 160 m3 powered by the local energy grid at night.
