The programme is working in 7 countries in Africa and Asia (Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Nepal, Tanzania, Uganda & Zambia). The programme is working in 7 countries in Africa and Asia (Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Nepal, Tanzania, Uganda & Zambia). As per the recent baseline survey conducted by WAI at all four intervention area, there is a huge need for improved access to WASH services and facilities at all locations. In order to achieve the programme goal and objectives, the programme will follow and adopt the WAI theory of change (TOC) approach, diamond model and total sanitation approach (SWASTHA community approach) to implement the program activities in participatory manner. The program will be implemented in full participation, coordination and support from local stakeholders, national and international Dutch partners. We believe that the new learnings, findings and tangible results would be very useful for the WASH sector as a whole.
