To transform the socioeconomic and environmental reality of the Miringuava Watershed (southern Brazil), through actions that contribute to water security by focusing on two fronts: (1) Conservation and restoration of natural ecosystems, and (2) Impact Entrepreneurship.

Project Results

Targets for the next 10 years:

• Restoration of ~650 hectares
• Protection of ~1,500 hectares
• Conversion from conventional agriculture to sustainable production on 500 hectares
• 01 Socio-environmental fund implemented and functioning
• 02 cooperatives have their business models strengthened
• 30 socio-environmetal impact businesses established with scaling potential

Expected impacts (10 years):

• Increased water quality of the Miringuava Basin by 30%
• Over 50% of the income of rural owners / associations / cooperatives coming from impact entrepreneurship, tourism and sustainable production
