Environmental & Public Health International (EPHI) is a global leader in drinking water training and public health protection, with roots in the lessons of the Flint Water Crisis. EPHI equips federal regulators, state primacy agencies, and public water system operators with the knowledge and tools needed to strengthen safe drinking water practices and prevent public health emergencies. Our work promotes climate resilient drinking water infrastructure through capacity building, digital innovation, and multi-sector partnerships.

EPHI develops innovative solutions such as the Lead Service Line Replacement Cost Calculator (LSLRCC), a free multilingual tool recognized by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) for advancing safe drinking water equity, infrastructure resilience, and public health protection.

Founded by Anthony Ross, former EPA Flint Safe Drinking Water Act Emergency Coordinator, EPHI empowers communities, municipalities, and utilities to achieve compliance with the EPA Lead and Copper Rule Improvements (LCRI), plan under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL), and invest in sustainable systems that serve both people and the planet.

Through its training, capacity-building innovation, and global collaboration, EPHI advances equitable access to safe drinking water and strengthens the integration of public health, climate-resilient drinking water infrastructure planning, and environmental resilience.

Our work directly contributes to achieving UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 3, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 16, and 17), promoting health, equity, innovation, and climate action worldwide.
