Agua de Sol, is an impact start-up currently developing the SunAir Fountain, which looks like a solar panel, but is rather a « water panel ».

The panel captures moisture from the air at night thanks to a specific adsorbent and condenses it during the day using solar energy, to produce drinking water.

This is an effective alternative to plastic bottled water, and water scarcity in some countries, which is both :

-Economical (the cost per liter of SunAir Fountain water is at least 5 to 10 times lower than that of bottled water);

-Ecological (no plastic, no transport, no CO2, no pollution).

We shall address three markets:

1. The 2 billion people with limited or no access to safe drinking water and the 2.4 billion people who have access to fresh water (from the tap) but do not drink it for various reasons, buying instead plastic bottled water, which price and negative impacts are such that they are now looking for alternatives.

2. Irrigation for vertical and hydroponic/ greenhouses.

3. Sterile and demineralized water for hospitals, clinics and labs.
