Demand creation for sanitation and hygiene promotion through the community wide approach to Community Led Total Sanitation (CLTS). Key CLTS activities will include development of chiefdom ODF plan, pre-triggering, triggering and post triggering follow-ups in communities, and capacity building of new/existing structures with periodic supportive supervision and monitoring including participatory community engagements. It also includes the institutional triggering and community resource building for scaling up sanitation and moving up the sanitation ladder. The engagements will lead to increased knowledge and awareness of both the participating authorities and the wider communities on sanitation and hygiene situations in their localities.
