Project Overview

In 2017 the water price increased by 1.1 RMB/m3 (before: 3.64 RMB/m3, now: 4.74 RMB/m3). While the water price increased, we worked on several water reducing countermeasures at the site. After the ramp up phase ended in 2015 the water demand per vehicle produced was reduced by 35% (end of 2017). Even so the target of the specific water demand per vehicle produced was set to 16% from the production start 2013 to 2018 (equal to 25% from 2010 to 2018). The effluent is after phy…

The effluent is after physical, chemical and biological treatment as one implemented measure recycled. The recycled effluent is used for irrigation and toilet flushing. The actual water reduction is round about 90,000 m3/a.

Project Results

Water reduction of around 90,000 m^3/a.
