At Kışladağ we use a site water balance model to increase the recycling and reuse of contact water, minimize groundwater consumption, and reduce risks attributable to overflow and supply constraints. The model helps us monitor our water reserves, adjust our consumption of water from different sources, and identify when we may need to discharge excess water. In coordination with our water processing facilities at Kışladağ, water balancing models help us to use water resources efficiently and sustainably for the health and well-being of our operations, our workforce, and our neighbouring communities.
