Project Overview

The primary means of managing this risk is to reduce our operation’s consumption and reliance on potable water sources. The mine runs a zero-discharge, closed loop water system whereby all water is recycled. Potable water is used for human consumption and top up. In Financial Year 2017, 76% of water at Booysendal Mine was recycled.

Project Results

76% of water recycled at Booysendal Mine in FY 2017.
