This area outside Maputo (Moçambique) became very popular again since the Chinese finished the road to Ponta Doura and South Africa. Before the road has been finished this area was difficult to reach due to poor road conditions.

In 2014 we (I'm working since 1999 here in Moçambique as a Missionary with the Igreja Uniao Baptista) asked the village chief there for a piece of land and we received about 1 hectare of bushland what we cleaned and we have built a small house there so far and started with a church service on Sunday mornings. We are still waiting for the final documents of the land - the land will be registered in the name of the Igreja Uniao Baptista - which have been promised by the end of this month.

When we got the land the population there asked us to dig a well because the water situation is very difficult and some of the next water holes a very far away. We tried to dig a water hole by hand but after 15 meters we had to stop and unfortunately we could not find any water.

One of the key objects is to find water for the population there - and the further plan or vision is to use the land for a school or pre-school, medical outpost, and a church.
