As drought and monsoon conditions evolve, the Southwest is expected to experience drier-than-average conditions. The project aims to: 1) improve and expand the access of information related to drought conditions, 2) improve understanding of drought and climate, and their co-relation, 3) track how drought information is used in decision making during a timeline that evolves from pre-drought conditions to severe drought, and 4) provide insights for the ongoing discussion on climate services.
