Project Overview

In partnership with Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority, Peninsula Open Space Trust, and others, the project enhances 8 acres of wetland habitat in Santa Clara County through modification of the culvert, and removal of anthropogenic materials and invasive plant species. Protection of wetlands are essential for reducing erosion, minimizing flooding, protecting native plant and animal diversity, and protecting and improving water quality.
