Project Overview

Implementation of an ultrasonic meter system to display the inefficiencies of water use at the Toluviejo cement plant. This system makes it possible to measure the use of water in real time to allow faster decisions to be made in the areas that use water the most. It also evidenced leaks in the distribution pipes of the collection system and in the water pumping system.

Project Results

Savings in water extraction of approximately 108,138 m3/year. 10,922 USD/year due to a red…

Project Results

Savings in water extraction of approximately 108,138 m3/year. 10,922 USD/year due to a reduction in water extraction. Another additional benefit is a reduction of the risks generated by water shortages by having greater control of the water extracted.
