Project Overview

Condition of Ganges river is becoming worse day by day because of increase in the dumping of waste by the locals directly into it. Earth5R team will act on this issue by cleaning a bank of river Ganges in a particular locality - Assi, Varanasi

Project Results

The activity will involve segregation of waste which will be collected after the clean up. Waste will be safely disposed off to a place such that it doesnt affect the locals living nearby. The locality primarily contains residential areas, this would be of community consideration. The activity would encourage participation of the local community in clean up process. It will also gain the attention of the people on pollution and waste disposal.
