The Nature Conservancy of Arkansas (TNC) collaborates with agricultural producers, conservation partners, and industry leaders in the Mississippi Alluvial Valley (MAV) to achieve our global priority of providing food and water sustainably. With support from Kellogg, Cargill, General Mills, and the KKAC Organization, TNC can increase the adoption of irrigation efficiency practices on cropland that promotes sustainable use of groundwater and surface water resources, improves water quality, and increases profitability on priority farmland over multiple years. We estimate this project could conserve between 10 and 15 billion liters of water per year across project acres.
