The goal is to develop tools andtechniques that ensure that hazardous substances in thetextile and leather industry are eradicated.Significant progress has been made in 2019 � within theframework of this initiative � to create the first inventoryof chemical substances of the textile and leather industry,benchmarking has been completed, and the existingscientific literature has been integrated in order todetermine the risk of the identified chemical substances.Experimental measurements and computational methodshave also been developed, making it possible to identify therisks not set out in the scientific literature.
