The overall plan is to increase improved access to and use of safe water and sanitation services and improve hygiene practices to 4400 people in target communities in the Sagnarigu District by the end of 2016. Specifically, the project seeks to empower communities and schools, especially women and girls to demand and achieve access to and use of sustainable safe water, sanitation, and hygienic living conditions in the Sagnarigu District of the Northern Region by the end of 2016. The project is also advocating through community, regional, and national level platforms for pro-poor National WASH Policies and adequate budgetary provision for level projects.
