Aquaporin A/S is a global water technology company located in Kongens Lyngby, Denmark.

Aquaporin is dedicated to revolutionizing water purification through the use of industrial biotechnological techniques and thinking.

The company specializing in 'biomimemtic' membranes to produce next-gen water filters. We produce filters embedded with special proteins (Aquaporins), found in all living organisms (including human kidneys), thus creating membranes which filter water the way nature would. Currently it is the only company in the world to have successfully done so. Their membranes (for RO and FO) are capable of producing tastier water, faster (better flow rate), and for lower energy. It finds applications in a variety of fields, not just drinking water purification, and not just on this planet, but space as well. (NASA were one of the first to fund this project, the filters are operational in space as well.)

Contact if you'd like to save up on your water treatment charges, energy costs, CAPEX, and reduce the number of filter elements used in your system.
