Every Drop: As in all other areas of our business, we work to get the basics right. In all our operations and across our supply chain, we strive to conserve and protect water. Without it, we have no business. Barley and hops only make beer when grown with and brewed with the best quality water. It’s why we’ve set a global target to reduce water use by 15%, per unit of production, by the end of 2012 -- 4.4hl of water to 1 hl of beer. See our infographic to learn more about how water is used in the brewing process at www.everydropeveryripple.com.. Every Ripple: We believe the best way to add value is by using our water expertise to raise awareness of the issue as well as take steps to protect and strengthen local watersheds. Raising awareness begins with our global employees. In 2010 we began marking September as Water Stewardship Month. Next, we reach out to the communities that share our watersheds. In UK, US, and Canada breweries, we’ve been instrumental in creating community forums to protect and understand the challenges within the local watersheds. Finally, as part of our mission to delight the world’s beer drinkers, we also work to educate and engage them on water issues. Why Water Matters To Us: None of us can take water for granted.
