Clorox's commitment to corporate responsibility includes making a positive difference in its communities. In fiscal year 2016, The Clorox Company and the Clorox Company Foundation contributed nearly $17 million in combined cash grants, product donations, cause marketing and employee volunteerism. In partnership with PRISMA, Clorox launched the Safe Water Project in four rural communities in Peru in 2012. Currently, The Clorox Company supports the Safe Water Project in 21 rural communities in Peru, reaching 25,000 people.
