Water Security Coalition for Chile/ WSCCh; Is a high-level, business-driven initiative that aims to accelerate water-focused climate action in Chile. With a collective goal of achieving water security in highly stressed basins, WSCCh promotes making Positive Water impact a standard practice in the private sector.

The Coalition is aligned with the goals of the Water Ceo and the Call to Action launched at the Water Conference. Still, we act as an intermediate to create awareness and accelerate the action of the private sector in the local context. WSCCh responds to Chile's water availability crisis caused by a 20-year drought, which poses significant risks to the country's environmental, social, and economic development. Chile is currently ranked as the 18th highest water stress country globally. By recognizing the crucial role of private companies in water management, WSCCh calls for action and partnership, towards increasing commitment to SDG 6 through peer-to-peer cooperation and learning.
