Organization Overview

Water for Cambodia builds and installs bio sand water filters, and household units that produce clean drinking water directly from contaminated sources. These cost-effective filters are built by our staff in Cambodia using local materials. Since 2006 we have installed over 27,000 filters in households and schools bringing clean water to more than 160,000 people. Our nationally recognized water testing laboratory regularly monitors installations for quality and safety.

Over the past 5 years, we have added a comprehensive WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Training) approach, partnering with villages and schools to build latrines and reliable wells and supporting hygiene education.
