A local hotel has worked with its owner and the neighboring community to support a project to fund two new water plants for the Maldives, providing a clean and sustainable water supply. By investing in a long-term solution, the hotel is playing its part in making the island more self-sufficient and ensuring a better supply of clean, freshwater for all. The Maldives are famous for their idyllic beaches, but maintaining these beaches can be hard work. The hotel works with locals in the community to help preserve the beauty of their surroundings. By using its community ties, the hotel employs people from neighboring islands to clean the beaches around the hotel every morning. It’s a win-win situation: the community takes pride in the area, the beaches and local waters are hygienic and healthy, and it makes for a great stay for our guests.
