La Central Termoeléctrica de Aguaytía de la empresa Orazul Energy cuenta con dos turbinas a gas (modelo GT11NMC XL/LP) de 88.441 MW y 86.964 MW que tras la actualización y mejora de los compresores de las turbo-gas, se logró el incremento de su capacidad de generación de energía en 9 MW en cada una. La Central Termoeléctrica de Aguaytía de la empresa Orazul Energy cuenta con dos turbinas a gas (modelo GT11NMC XL/LP) de 88.441 MW y 86.964 MW que tras la actualización y mejora de los compresores de las turbo-gas, se logró el incremento de su capacidad de generación de energía en 9 MW en cada una. Al hacer este incremento, se observó que la temperatura del metal del cojinete N°3 había aumentado también. Ello provocó que se utilice un sistema de enfriamiento al 100% de su capacidad disponible, con 3 ventiladores asociados al sistema. Sin embargo, durante la temporada de calor en la que las temperaturas ambientales exceden los 30°C, el sistema llegó a niveles no aceptables de temperatura en el cojinete, alcanzando con mayor frecuencia valores mayores a 100 °C lo que obligó a implementar un sistema auxiliar de enfriamiento con agua. Se analizaron alternativas para el cambio de cojinetes afectados por un diseño mejorado. De este modo Orazul Energy invirtió en el cambio de diseño del cojinete N°3, lo cual permitió mantener temperaturas menores del metal, siendo la utilización de agua innecesaria para el enfriamiento.
