Project Overview

In partnership with Madera County, this project converts 118 acres of almond orchard into pollinator-friendly native plantings, open space, and three stormwater management basins adjacent to a community that is reliant upon groundwater wells. The aim of this project is to reduce groundwater withdrawals, while producing a variety of ecosystem benefits.
