Project Overview

In partnership with the National Audubon Society, this project creates 914 acres of summer wetland habitat for birds in California’s Central Valley by flooding wetlands. Through agreements with private wetland managers, the project floods the wetlands from April 1st through July 15th each year, supporting nesting and rearing birds, as well as migratory birds.
