Project Overview

In partnership with Blue Forest and the World Resources Institute, this forest restoration project is implemented across 48,000 acres of the Tahoe National Forest. This project reduces ground-level vegetation through manual cutting/thinning and controlled burns of undergrowth. This reduction of vegetation leads to increased streamflow.
