Project Overview

In partnership with the National Forest Foundation, the project removes 40 acres of the invasive tamarisk in the East Fork of the San Gabriel River, allowing native vegetation to re-establish when possible. Tamarisk invasion has long-lasting effects on riparian ecosystems, including biodiversity loss and increased frequency and intensity of wildfires.
