Project Overview

In partnership with the Santa Clara River Conservancy, the Nature Conservancy, and the University of California at Santa Barbara, this floodplain restoration project reconnects a wetland with the Santa Clara River. The Santa Clara River is one of the last large, free flowing rivers in southern California with critical riparian habitat that supports dependent wildlife, including several endangered and special status species.
