This project, led by World Vision in the municipality of Porto Velho, aims to provide access to safe drinking water, thereby reducing cases of water-borne diseases. The initiative is expected to directly benefit 5,000 people by implementing solutions such as drilling artesian wells or installing alternative water treatment systems (SALTA-Z systems), equipping public schools with water tanks, maintaining and re-equipping water systems in schools and training community members on the appropriate and sustainable use of water resources.
