Establishment of 32,500 meters of trenches in a 65-hectare area of pine forest in the upper basin of the Conchos River, specifically in the community of Huizomachi in the municipality of Guachochi, Chihuahua, Mexico. The main objective of these works is to capture rainwater and enhance its infiltration into the soil, thereby increasing the potential for aquifer recharge, benefiting both the community and the other functional areas of the watershed. In the area, contour lines were marked and trenches were excavated all of which was accomplished through the efforts of the local community.
