In 2019, WWF Bulgaria and Mondi restored a natural riparian forest on degraded land near the Mondi Stambolijski mill.7 This is the third site that we have restored through the WWF-Mondi Global Partnership within the Maritsa water catchment, where our Stambolijski mill is located.
