Ciudad Ju�rez is a border city in northern Mexico, neighboring the U.S. city of El Paso, Texas. It is the most populated city in the State of Chihuahua since the 2020 census reported more than 1,500,000 inhabitants in its urban area. Ciudad Ju�rez is a border city in northern Mexico, neighboring the U.S. city of El Paso, Texas. It is the most populated city in the State of Chihuahua since the 2020 census reported more than 1,500,000 inhabitants in its urban area. Based on official statistics, the drinking water distribution network in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico has more than 95% coverage. However, according to data from the Municipal Institute of Research and Planning (IMIP) in 2015 there were just over 6,500 homes without piped water, so it is estimated that there are more than 26,000 people without this basic service, most of them in the area known as "Los Kil�metros" located in the southwestern part of the city.

Project Narrative

Develop a diagnostic to detect water access and quality needs for Ciudad Juarez. The diagnostic will be focused in the �Los Kilometros� community involving key stakeholders, surveys, participatory workshops to detect the WASH needs.
