Project Overview

This project aims to provide safe drinking water for almost 3000 children and teachers at the fast growing Yeta Community School in Mongu district, Zambia. The project will provide training/education on maintenance & hygiene. The community will have actual clean safe drinking water and educating the community on water, sanitation & health through providing teaching at the community meetings.

The school might be closed because of sanitation and hygiene issues during the raining seasons.

Project Narrative

We have successfully engaged the community in all our activities and have full support from the local chief. We have managed to provide chlorine to school children's caregivers and have provided hand-washing training to children as well as to mothers at the under 5 clinics.
