CONTEXT

70% of the land in the United Kingdom is farmed with intensive monocultural farming leading to ecosystem degeneration. Developing agroforestry systems in the country is therefore critical in delivering broader conservation objectives. PUR Projet and the Woodland Trust, one of the most famous charity in the United Kingdom, are operating Smart Planting since 2013.
