AT&T and the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) developed tools and resources to help organizations build their own programs to reduce water and energy use in buildings.

Project Results

Building operators can realize substantial water savings in their cooling towers — up to 40 percent — in ways that provide a competitive return on investment. Organizations can also realize savings energy and water by taking full advantage of air-side economizers, which cool buildings with lower temperature air from the outside and dramatically reduce the use of water and energy in the cooling process.
