Project Overview

By means of decentralized water stations, Siemens Stiftung aims to cultivate a sustainable water supply in remote regions of Kenya. The Safe Water Enterprises are implemented in cooperation with SkyJuice Foundation and further partners. What the projects have in common is a reliance on water filtration technology, as well as a focus on education and financial sustainability.

Project Results

The water stations provide access to clean potable water for people in remote regions and thus achieve progress in the areas of health and hygiene towards that goal. At the same time they initiate entrepreneurial activities and open up new opportunities for generating income.
