Earthwatch is an International NGO which focusses on scientific research and education about environmental issues. Earthwatch run FreshWater Watch, an employee engagement programme which raises awareness of fresh water issues through hands-on Citizen Science Leader training days. In addition to raising awareness of the fresh water challenge and engendering personal behavioural change, this training programme allows employees to participate in a global citizen scientist programme that gathers real data on water quality that contributes to real science for our global network of freshwater scientists.
