EA SusWatch implemented the LVEMP II Civil Society Watch Project that sought to lobby and advocate for realization of results-based performance from the Lake Victoria Environmental Management Project (LVEMP II) and implementation of the East African Climate Change Policy (EACCP, April 2011).

EA SusWatch implemented the LVEMP II Civil Society Watch Project that sought to lobby and advocate for realization of results-based performance from the Lake Victoria Environmental Management Project (LVEMP II) and implementation of the East African Climate Change Policy (EACCP, April 2011).

Project Results

The principal beneficiaries were the resource constrained communties in the Lake Victoria basin targeted by the LVEMPII project. The secondary beneficiaries were mandated institutions like Lake Victoria Basin Commission, Lake Victoria Fisheries Organisation and LVEMPII implementing institutions in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania. In addition, NGOs / CSOs and interested media working with and relating with the LVB communities on a daily basis
