The Sixaola-Teribe River Water Fund is a long term financial mechanism whose main objective is to develop a biodiversity, soil and water resource conservation program for these basins through integrated basin management.
This Fund will benefit directly nearly 200,000 people, inhabitants of the city of Changuinola and the communities established near the basins included in the Water Fund.
