El sistema de tratamiento de aguas residuales domesticas (PTAR), está compuesto por las siguientes unidades: pozo de bombeo No.1, pretratamiento (desarenadores y trampa de grasas), tratamiento (tanque de aireación, tanque de sedimentación, cámara de otantes y/o espumas y cámara de tamiz), filtración (tanque de almacenamiento de agua tratada y unidad de lechos de secado) y nalmente, un pozo de bombeo No.2. El sistema de tratamiento de aguas residuales domesticas (PTAR), está compuesto por las siguientes unidades: pozo de bombeo No.1, pretratamiento (desarenadores y trampa de grasas), tratamiento (tanque de aireación, tanque de sedimentación, cámara de otantes y/o espumas y cámara de tamiz), filtración (tanque de almacenamiento de agua tratada y unidad de lechos de secado) y nalmente, un pozo de bombeo No.2. Las aguas tratadas son empleada en el riego de jardines y canchas al interior del campus universitario (30%) y vertidas en una acequia con destino al Río Lili (70%).

Project Results

  • Actualmente, se reúsa el 30% de las aguas tratadas en el riego de los jardines y canchas del campus universitario, lo que equivale a 1’559 m3/año.
  • Aprovechamiento de 230 Kg/Año de lodos secos generados por la PTAR para la producción de 11 toneladas de abono orgánico mediante un sistema de lombricompostaje
  • Ahorro económico en el reúso de las aguas tratadas para el riego de jardines y canchas de la universidad.
