Missed Opportunities

The water and fashion conversation was so compelling both sides learned so much about the other's industry, but as water advocates we underestimated how little we knew about the mechanics of the fashion/entertainment industry.

Project Narrative

Youth for Global Health and Social Justice (Y4GH) champions youth leaders, providing a platform to showcase their critical and creative water crisis solutions skills, to ensure sustainable availability, management, and sanitation of water. As an eight-year-old international non-profit organization, Y4GH is leaving transformative footprints across the globe. Included in its’s many initiatives are upgraded school facilities in Zimbabwe, student training in green energy water mechanics at a treatment facility in Santiago, Chile, and active water projects in 10 countries to drill wells to change the lives of the impoverished, by providing clean, accessible water, sanitation, and support programs to empower women. Y4GH has often been a lone agent of hope, providing water, free from the hazards of waterborne disease. Making a difference and creating change is costly and we require substantial funding. To this end, the objective of Walk the Runway for Water benefit is to raise $250,000. The proceeds will enable our “4 in 2024” project, which involves drilling at least four wells in four countries.
