The Mvula Trust is South Africa's largest water and sanitation NGO, working to improve the health and well-being of rural and peri-urban communities by increasing access to sustainable water, sanitation and related services. We offer specialist services for developing capacity within the water services sector. Access to donor funding enables us to undertake research, pilot new approaches and influence policy development. Our core focus is implementing and supporting the delivery of water services in rural and peri-urban areas. In particular, we specialise in community management, the establishment of community based water services providers and supporting local authorities to create an enabling environment for sustainability. Established in 1993, we have built a reputation for achieving quality results with a real impact.
